Chefs Ryan Dunn and Jennifer Cimino bring years of fine dining expertise and a shared passion for health-focused cuisine to your table. Chef Ryan honed his culinary skills at Greenville favorites like Urban Wren and the Commerce Club, and now channels his creativity into nutrient-rich, locally sourced meals. Chef Jenn’s background spans luxury hospitality at the Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale to restaurant leadership in Delray Beach and Halls Chophouse Greenville. Together, they craft fresh, chef-driven menus using organic ingredients from local farms. With registered dietitian Brittany Jones, MS, RD, LD they’ve created a unique collaboration that blends culinary excellence with expert nutritional guidance. “Whether you're looking to eat cleaner, save time, or simply enjoy restaurant-quality meals at home, their service makes it effortless. Chef Jenn studied nutrition at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida.
Hospitality is all we do, and have ever done! Together we have almost 40 years of combined experience.
The perfect team! Ryan has such an extensive culinary background and Jenn has an incredible front of house presence. Together, we create truly memorable events! We love doing anything from intimate dinner parties to corporate events and weddings. Each Wednesday we cook for 250 people at Second Presbyterian Church in downtown Greenville, SC. Cooking for a crowd is kind of our thing!

Meet Root to Rise

Where are you from?
Jenn- I grew up at the "Crossroads of America" aka Vandalia, Ohio Ryan- I was born in Chicago and raised right here in Greenville!
What's your favorite restaurant?
Jenn- Jianna in Greenville! Everything is always amazing, the service, the pasta, the oysters. Always a good time! Ryan- Hands down E-Gyu in Atlanta! I am obsessed with the sushi delivery tram.
What's your favorite thing to cook for yourself?
Jenn- I love cooking soups and anything low and slow that makes the house smell amazing and we can eat for a few days. Ryan- Eggs & Toast! Every day I start my day with 4 eggs and 4 pieces of buttery toast.
If you're not in the kitchen - what are some of your hobbies & interests?
Jenn- You will always find me in my garden no matter the time of year. We grow a ton of our own produce that we use for meal prep! That is a full-time job in and of itself. Ryan- I love doing anything outdoors and working out at the gym! In my free time I love to experiment with new recipes and flavors.
Why do you enjoy working for Elite Personal Chefs?
We both love the support we get from EPC! The best part of working with all professionals, is that you always have someone reliable to bounce ideas off of and go to for advice. Because EPC is employee owned, there is no internal competition. We are all working towards the same goal!
