Chef Mirko’s Taste of Europe and Beyond brings a refined, European-inspired dining experience into your home. Born and raised in Germany, Mirko trained at the prestigious Hotel Fach School in Southern Germany and earned a Gold Medal for culinary excellence. With more than 40 years of experience in world-class kitchens across Europe, the Caribbean, China, and the United States, he blends classic European technique with global influences to create vibrant, beautifully presented dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients. A Certified Executive Chef and Certified Chef de Cuisine, Mirko has led culinary teams at acclaimed properties including Omni Bedford Springs Resort and Oglebay Park. In 2024, he was hired to help reopen and lead the culinary program at the historic Nittany Lion Inn in State College, Pennsylvania. His honors include American Culinary Federation Chef of the Year and Iron Chef Jamaica winner, along with numerous culinary competition awards and media appearances. Mirko is also passionate about education, hosting interactive cooking classes and mentoring rising chefs.
